Continual code audits help ensure that there are no unknown vulnerabilities, and constant development and implementation of new encryption techniques inhibit would-be hackers.

If, at any time, you suspect the integrity of your Abacast stream has been compromised, we ask that you contact us immediately at support@abacast.com so that we can verify the status of your stream and take appropriate action if necessary.

Where it comes from: The Abacast plugin is free for tuning into the growing number of Internet radio stations, Television stations, and webcams streaming in with Abacast's Distributed Streaming Network technology.

Technical: When you install the plugin, the installation package delivers three files; the executable, a plugin dll and an activeX object. These are used only for streaming media, and are only active while you are listening or viewing an Abacast stream. If you have installed the plugin, find the detailed installation summary via the WISE installation log at C:\Program Files\Abacast\client.log.

Find it on your computer: All files are deposited into C:\Program Files\Abacast.

Spyware: Our installer does NOT install adware or spyware, nor does it add or modify any Windows System files.

Whistle-blowers: If you encounter a web site using Abacast Enabled streaming from which you acquire spyware, adware or other malicious content, please report it to us so that we can notify the web site owner immediately and take appropriate actions.
