Camas, Washington, March 21st, 2008 –Mike King, President and CEO of Abacast Inc. will be part of a panel discussion for the Broadband TV World Summit on April 16th during the Annual NAB Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Broadband TV Summit explores the next generation of TV and focuses on television quality digital video moving to the web, TV sets, movie screens, cell phones, games, virtually any platform that handles rich media.
Mr. King’s session is from 1:30 to 2:20 in room 219/220. The topic titled; The Billion Dollar Question: How Will Broadband Video Make Money? This session addresses the issues of making online video profitable and the best ways to maximize revenues through online advertising techniques.
The panel is well suited for Mr. King on the account that Abacast has real-world experience with broadcasters transitioning to online streaming media and producing a profitable addition to their terrestrial stations, as well as viable business solutions for online-only broadcasters. “Abacast is implementing online advertising solutions on a daily basis,” states Mike King, “our Ad Injection System is one of our numerous ways to drive online revenue and the success of this technology is proof that there are profitable business models to be made from webcasting.”
